| Introduction | | Black Unicorn. | After I
moved to a new town, I had no Fantasy Battle Opponent and was a bit tired
of my Empire army. I wanted something new, something different, exciting,
fun! I knew w40k (the usual acronym for the name) for long, and the third
edition was just released. To know more about the game, here is an
introduction
on Games Workshop's website. My thirst for beautiful models was intact
and I was hungry for tanks. It means I could have fallen in love for
Imperial Guard, but I was more hungry for futuristic tanks, not
World-War II looking ones... So I naturally inclined for Eldar and their
clean painting scheme. Nothing can compare to a beautifully painted Eldar
army. Game wise, things are slightly different, but since most of the time
my army is just hanging around on shelves and looking good it's not
really a problem. Of course, the following articles are not written with
only the Eldar players in mind. There are tons of advice going even beyond
Warhammer 40,000 frame, and you may find them useful no matter your army. | | Exodites | Long ago, before the
Fall, some Eldar individuals fled their degenerated society to settle
fringe worlds. They were called Exodites and they survived up to the 41st
millenium. | | | | | Exodite Project Creating a whole new faction for Warhammer 40'000 requires a bit of
reflexion. [read] published on 01 May 2007 | | | | | Exodite Lord In
times of battle, high-ranking Exodite Nobles ride Carnosaurs - the most
fearful predators of their Maiden Worlds. [read] published on 01 May 2007 | | | | | | Craftworld Ulthwë | Here are
conversions and notes for my first Warhammer 40'000 army, dedicated to
Ulthwë Craftworld. Since I was a beginner in modelling at that time, those
articles might appear elementary to the conversion veteran - the famous
Black Unicorn being a notable exception - but may provide an interesting
read for miniature hobbyists not familiar with the subject. | | | | | Storm Guardians Despite being a troop choice for Eldar, Storm Guardians were not
available until june 2003. I couldn't wait so I built mine. [read] published on 30 Apr 2004 | | | | | Ulthwé Seer Council Taking the most of existing Farseers and Warlocks, I wanted my own
selection of weapons. [read] published on 10 May 2004 | | | | | Swooping Hawk Exarch If you want an Exarch with a Web of Skulls, here is how to build
one. [read] created on 08 Jun 2004 | | | | | Eldar Rangers Custom Eldar Rangers, built from the plastic Eldar Defender Guardians
sprue and green stuff. Includes conversion notes and instructions to build
yours. [read] published on 19 May 2004 | | | | | Eldar Black Unicorn An impressive Falcon conversion. A new design that can be used for a
Wave Serpent too. Profile and background for this custom Eldar tank. [read] published on 13 Jun 2004 | | | | | Eldar Black Unicorn II If you want to build your own, you will be happy to see
that every modeling detail is explained here. [read] published on 15 Jun 2004 | | | | | Eldar Black Unicorn III Last article in the Black Unicorn series, it covers
assembly, painting and finishing touches. [read] published on 15 Jun 2004 | |
