Introduction

Black Unicorn.

After I moved to a new town, I had no Fantasy Battle Opponent and was a bit tired of my Empire army. I wanted something new, something different, exciting, fun! I knew w40k (the usual acronym for the name) for long, and the third edition was just released. To know more about the game, here is an introduction on Games Workshop's website.

My thirst for beautiful models was intact and I was hungry for tanks. It means I could have fallen in love for Imperial Guard, but I was more hungry for futuristic tanks, not World-War II looking ones... So I naturally inclined for Eldar and their clean painting scheme. Nothing can compare to a beautifully painted Eldar army. Game wise, things are slightly different, but since most of the time my army is just hanging around on shelves and looking good it's not really a problem.

Of course, the following articles are not written with only the Eldar players in mind. There are tons of advice going even beyond Warhammer 40,000 frame, and you may find them useful no matter your army.

Exodites

Long ago, before the Fall, some Eldar individuals fled their degenerated society to settle fringe worlds. They were called Exodites and they survived up to the 41st millenium.

Craftworld Ulthwë

Here are conversions and notes for my first Warhammer 40'000 army, dedicated to Ulthwë Craftworld. Since I was a beginner in modelling at that time, those articles might appear elementary to the conversion veteran - the famous Black Unicorn being a notable exception - but may provide an interesting read for miniature hobbyists not familiar with the subject.
